Hello,

I am assuming that this is the right forum although it may be a tool problem. I am using the GCC toolchain to develop for an STR735 and the Insight Debugger. I am able to download and run code on the target processor but I am not able to ''program flash''. Does anybody have any idea of what I might be doing wrong? I have never successfully programed the flash and so I am not sure whether the ''System Memory Boot mode'' is relevant? Our mode pins are set to M0 = 0, M1 = 0 (through 10k pull down resistors)

This is our first time to use the ARM family so it is a big learning curve against a tight deadline.

What toolchain are you using? GCC is too vague. It could mean CrossWorks, YAGARTO, GNUARM, etc.

Hello,

I am using the Idealist IDE. Anglia's technical support go me up and running, I had not realised that you needed to set a switch in the IDE to ROM73x from RAM73x. This solved my problem.
