Hi,

I'am afraid that OSC safeguard is turn on but i don't know how can i turn it off, i don't have an access to the option bytes in my programer (this programmer scheme i took from the magazine and it works with DOS software st622xpg.bat (kit622x.exe)). Do you know how can i change theoption bytes in another way (eg. add something in the *.hex file)?

Thank you

Hello,

The selection of the OSC safeguard can only be done in programming mode. Read the datasheet off ST6220C on page 16.

Using this old Dos software(st622xpg.bat (kit622x.exe)), it is not possible to program the option byte. Actually this software was used to program B version(old devices) in which there was no option byte setting. This option byte is present in C verion devices(present devices).

The only way to program option byte is to use Winee.
