problem executing printf

hello,

for the toolsuite IAR + WinIdea i can not use sample program with retarget :

/* infinite loop */

while(1)

{

printf (''HELLO WORD'');

......

.....

}

the program can not find printf and need to break the execution.

Might it be a problem with the lib conf?

hi !!!!

Yes it's retarget file from STR71x library.

if i don't use retarget what is the stdout for printf?(EMI, JTAG.....)

when i use printf what are the subfunctions used? (putc, ...........)

do you have a sample program to retarget printf to UART?
