Hi,

The Help says that when programming the CPU with the option byte disabled, the option byte in the CPU is ignored.

How does the CPU know if I am using option byte disabled or enabled?

Does it check the ICCCLK and ICCDATA at start?

Also, if my CPU has been programmed to use ResonatorOscilator and I want to use Option byte disabled (which means the programming tool will be providing the clock), do I need to disconnect the CPU from its current clock source

Thank you

A different number of pulses is used to enter each programming mode.

No you do not need to disconnect any clock source.
