Question

M24C02 POR Threshold

What is the lower limit of the POR threshold value for the M24C02-RMN6TPT?
The datasheet states "lower than the minimum VCC", but we need to know the specific value.
With our hardware, the VCC only goes down to 1.0 V, not 0V.  Therefore, I am inquiring to make sure that Device Reset is working reliably.

Hello,

Your device is M24C02-RMN6TPT, so tables 6 and 21 in the datasheet tell that this value is 1.8V:

R = VCC = 1.8 V to 5.5 V

Ok, but that's the voltage range for reliable operation. The question here is more about some degree of viability and retention which is likely much lower.

Is there a POR circuit internally that clamps it in reset below 1.8V ?

Hello,

What is the threshold range that its internal POR operates in?

For example (1.8-1.6V) or (1.8V - 1.4V) or .....?
