Hello all !

 

Has anyone heard of the LX32F072CBT6 microprocessor? I found it when looking for the hardware used by a client.

AI says me:

“The LX32F072CBT6 is an alternative part number or specific designation that corresponds directly to the STM32F072CBT6 microcontroller manufactured by STMicroelectronics.”

 

It seems to be a chinese copy of the STM32F072CBT6 but has someone some info about it?

Well, my search engines only found one result on Taobao, where 189 such “devices” are being offered. Since I was unable to retrieve any further information there, I cannot answer your questions.

If it is an illegal clone, STMicroelectronics’ tools will not be usable and you will need to contact the manufacturer. If they are not illegal clones and it is merely a typo, you should contact Taobao or your client.

I am not totally sure at the moment but I’d say it’s likely to be an illegal clone.

I tried searching using just the “root" LX32F072 part number - without all the suffix characters - whence it seems to be from Geehy Semiconductor:
