I suppose not.

Rather, I would recommend to look for an appropriate (MCU agnostic) algorithm, and test it.

The problem is not implementing itself, but to achieve sufficient "randomness" with multiple identical devices. This is usually based on MCU-specific parameters like counters and/or ADC inputs, and not portable.

All the companies in the lighting business I know tend to go cheap, i.e. preferably select an 8-bit MCU for slave devices. Most often Microchip PIC16/18.
