I am trying to write a visual basic program that uses the ST10FlasherDLL to program a AMD29F400 external flash memory, the documention mentions that you need to ''force the target'' when programming external flash as you do not get the chip ID from the BSL, how do I force the target ?

Best Regards,

John.

I worked out how to force the target but now I cannot read or write to the external flash, what command should I use ?

Any help on this matter appreciated.

John.

Hello,

The algorithm which programs external Flash memories wasn't implemented in ST10Flasher Software. Therefore, actually, ST10Flasher doesn't support external memories.

To do this, you can use FLASH166, this software is delivered by FS-FORTH with their starter kit boards.
