We were flashing St72f561 using indart-stx with s/w DataBlaze Programmer Successfully, on two boards. For around 10 days there were no problem. Suddenly we were unable to flash both the boards. The flasher software started showing error, ''Communication error between Instrument & target device''.

Tried every possibility given in the DataBlaze Programmer's help, but nothing is working out.

Hi Amit,

maybe your inDART-STX is simply damaged. Did you try to contact SofTec Microsystems Support (support@softecmicro.com)?

Have you ever tried th diagnostic test? Is there any error message occurred?

Make sure that you have disconnected the target board from the inDART-STX programmer during the diagnostic test.

Also, in most of the cases, the communication error between the instrument and the target device is caused by the inappropriate configuration of option bytes.

The simply way is to contact support team of SofTec.

I hope the above suggestion can help.... :p
