Does ST still produce the IMU LSM6DSVDTR and what is the different between LSM6DSVTR and LSM6DSVDTR?

Yes. ST currently lists LSM6DSVTR as active and in volume production.

For LSM6DSVDTR vs. LSM6DSVTR, I’d double-check the exact part number: ST’s current official documentation lists LSM6DSVTR, but I couldn’t find an official ST listing for LSM6DSVDTR. The “DTR” version may therefore be a distributor/internal designation or a typo rather than a separate ST device.

A quick check with ST/distributor support would be safest before treating them as interchangeable.

ST still lists the LSM6DSVTR as the current part. I’m not seeing a current official listing for LSM6DSVDTR, so it may be an obsolete or incorrect ordering code. Check the exact marking against ST’s latest datasheet to confirm the difference.

Hi Jason,

Thanks, it looks not to be an incorrect ordering code because we can find the part from market,  could you help confirm if LSM6DSVDTR is an obsolete part or not? Below is its original label.

LSM6DSVDTR was a custom sensor, and only the relevant customer had access to its documentation. That customer, however, would consider the documentation to be its trade secret, so that no one will be able to help you.

Peter, thanks,  are you meaning that the part number LSM6DSVDTR is a custom part, right?
