Availability of new derivatives (ST72344K2)

Hi guys,

a customer needs to replace one of those ugly Microchip PIC derivatives: PIC16F872. I found out, that the ST72344K2 would be a very good fit, but I cannot find it on your website.

Is this derivative already available? Are samples available? What about the pricing information?

you are perfectly right, ST72F344 is the best replacement for PIC16F872.

By the way this product is still in development, the full spec production samples will be available in May 2006, for ramp-up July 2006.

The price is in the range of $1.6 for 10ku
