Which is the STEVAL-MKI183V1's MEMS Sensor, LPS33HW or LPS28DFW?

In the STEVAL-MKI183V1’s data brief sheet it’s saying that it uses LPS33HW product family barometer sensors. But when you click on the linked web site of the LPS33HW product it takes you to LPS28DFW’s ST web site. So is the board got update and it now uses LPS28DFW or is it a mistake? If it’s a mistake; where is the LPS33HW’s web site? Because i can’t find it on web. There is no website for LPS33HW on ST that i can find datasheet of it.

If there is someone knows that answer please let me know.

Sorry for the confusion, but the solution to the riddle is relatively simple:

• the LPS33W has been obsolete and unavailable for quite some time
• for the STEVAL-MKI183V1, NRND (Not Recommended for New Designs) is therefore already noted on its product website, which is why it should only be used for projects already in progress
• the data brief for the STEVAL-MKI183V1 was last updated in 2019, so it still contains the link to the LPS33W; however, this link is redirected by the ST website to the possible replacement, the LPS28DFW

I hope I have cleared up the confusion a little?

Yes you cleared the confusion but I still need the datasheet of that sensor. Because I’m not looking for buying a new sensor, I already have the MKI183V1 in my hand and I need to use it. 

The sensor can be discontinued but why would ST delete the sensor’s all data? I think there is datasheet in somewhere that we can’t reach.

but that just gives a ‘page not found’ error.

Looks like this product must have been discontinued ?

I will use your LPS33HW datasheet reference in my project. 

But I was looking for legit LPS33HW ST Web Site. Because generally this sensor websites includes extra sheets like user manuals, calibration manuals etc. and they are really useful on understanding the sensor.

And about the sensor’s destiny. Yes it looks like have been discontinued...

It’s not mine - I just found it on Mouser’s website.

​@Peter BENSCH has confirmed that the LPS33HW is long-discontinued - so why would you start a project now based on it?
