Sensor TileBox Pro - orientation of X,Y,Z axes ?

So, I was showing some friends in England how to use the Sensor TileBox Pro to measure a building, using the modified CLI_EXAMPLE program.  

So starting analysis, the X axis now representing gravity vector in the table, I knew I had the box sitting on its side in a slot in the column, so if I am looking at the box, I was wondering what axis system matched the box and the unit.

I think the white dot is in the bottom right hand corner, is the white dot on the board an indicator

so X is parallel to the short axis of the box laying down, the Y axis is parallel to the long axis lying down and the Z axis is vertical.   Please confirm, as I have no desire to take the box apart.

All of the Sensortile's sensors are oriented in the same way via firmware, using axis rotation functions, regardless of how they are mounted on the board.
The orientation is as follows:

I would suggest that a normal human would assume Y parallel to the device short axis as matches most math textbooks.

Is this actually stated anywhere in the documentation ?

Admittedly only a quick scan, but I didn’t see it anywhere in UM3133 or UM3241.

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

I had a long scan over a few weeks and I could not find it.

I was out by 180 degrees on X and Y thanks for letting me know.  

It works a treat as long as you unplug the battery, and put a USBGear Managed Hub between it and the computer.

It is not reported in any document but we follow the standard ENU.

Hello Federica:

Accepted that you follow what is affectionately known as the right hand rule in Australian Physics.  The problem is the rule does not say what is the Y or N direction on a device.  I would have assumed that the device had ENU at a negative rotation of 90 degrees on your picture.  

Thank you for the response, I can just imagine how busy you all are and we ask such annoying questions.  

The challenge with this device is it is giving us data we have not seen before, so there is a scramble to work out what it means and it does mean something.  

How did the developers get rid of the thermal signature on all but the Z axis or U axis, below 5 Hz, this has opened up a whole new world.

. And will a future device fix the U axis as well.
