Sure, I'm pretty much new to the ST tool chain. I'd interpreted ​that the software GUI, iNemo (I'm not sure if that's the software tools name), enabled a developer to select ST components in order to build a custom IMU using code auto generated from the tool.

Do you have a link to the tool or screenshot? I'm still not sure if you are referring to an existing tool or you are asking for such a tool?

AlgoBuilder supports only X-NUCLEO-IKS01A2 or SensorTile which utilize sensors with maximum range 16g. Theoretically you could modify the FW to work with other sensor with higher range, but the functionality is not guaranteed.
