Reading temperature from MKI185V1 using MEMS Studio

Hello,

I would like to evaluate  IIS2MDC mounted on MKI185V1 evaluation board using MEMS Studio. in the “Save to File” section I can choose Timestamp, Magnetometer, Magnetometer [LSB}, and Interrupt 1, but not Temperature, although the device has an internal temperature sensor. my setup:
STEVAL-MKI185V1 on STEVAL-MKI109V3, FW: 3.79.1. MEMS Studio ver. 2.4.0 on Windows 11.

IIS2MDC Magnetometer temperature sensor “Log to File” with MEMS Studio is not currently supported.

Temperature register information is available in “Register Map” section.

Thank you for your answer.

Any plans to add support for this? Register Map only gives the current reading and cannot be recorded over time, or is it?

there is no plan to add this support at the moment.

You can log temperature registers over time by using STEVAL-MKI109V3 serial port communication framework in a PC script. You can find the supported commands in this user manual. STEVAL-MKI109V3 Professional MEMS Tool motherboard for MEMS adapter boards - User manual
