Question

Marking of LSM6DSVTR

LSM6DSVTR is marked V3,

The marking format differs from the description in the datasheet. Could you please clarify whether the date code (DC) format has changed from YWW to Y or another format, and what the digit “4” represents?

Could you also provide the relevant PCN (Product Change Notification) or other official documentation to support this change?

Thank you.

Welcome @Tiffany, to the community!

  1. The datasheet makes no statement about the marking, because the marking is internal information.
  2. Information on the date code is also internal information and not public, so the community, where users worldwide help one another, likewise cannot make any statement about it (unless, by chance, a colleague from the Sensor Division happens to take a look).

  3. Because the entire marking is internal information, there are neither any PCNs nor any official documents about it.

What I can still tell you, though, is this: the LSM6DSVTR has the marking V3.

Regards
/Peter

Confirmation of Date Code Marking on LSM6DSVTR
Dear ST Team,

We noticed that the Date Code (DC) marking on the LSM6DSVTR IC package consists of only one digit.

Could you please confirm whether this one-digit DC marking is normal and complies with ST's standard marking practice?

Your confirmation would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,
