I have used LSM6DSO sensor to calculate the angle of inclination with the help of accelerometer. why the angle starts decreasing when it is rotated by 90 along y-axis and if i start rotating along x-axis ?

it really depends on the algorithm you used to calculate it

did you use only the z axis value to calculate inclination?

if you only want the general inclination, not directed along an axis, you should do it
