Hts221 how long does the heater have to be ON to clear condensation

    the exact time of the condensation recovery would depend on the "condensation level" on the sensor.

    Assuming the maximum condensation, I can share you an average characterization results:

    • Example: Fridge. Max condensation to ambient 68%:
      • without heater --> 800 seconds
      • with heater on --> 10 seconds

    Please note also that the amount of current flowing in the heater depends on the Vdd, and is proportional to the RH% reduction in a constant timeframe. For example, 1-minute heater ON at Vdd=3.3V drops the humidity of -23rH, while at Vdd=1.8V the drop is -8rH, same timeframe.
