Hi i am using lsm6dso sensor to develop an accelerometer ,will i need to enable any FSM for that application . will the drivers developed by st are controller independent of the controllers?

if i configure the sensor for full scale deflection of ODR_XL = 208 Hz, FS_XL = ±2 g and ODR_G = 104 Hz, FS_G = ±250 dps then i started reading the OUTX_L_G,OUTY_L_G,OUTZ_L_G and then multiply the register output with 0.000030517 to make the out as accelerometer but not be able to get 1g when the device is idle?
