AIS3624DQ returning valid axis data for X, but not for Y and Z!??!

Hello, I am using the AIS3624DQ accelerometer, and I am able to get valid readings from the X axis, but the Y and Z are returning zeroes.

I can read out the CTRL_REG1 register, and I see that X, Y, and Z are all enabled.  For whatever reason, X is reporting valid data, but not Y and Z.

Any insight?  Or Errata I should know about?
