Question on setting for NRG-1 and NRG-2

I am using NRG-1 for my product development but I have only NRG-2 kit on hand. I am using NRG-2 project to develop my SW for using DK kit but I found there are 250kHz frequency offset when the software is applied to my HW for using NRG-1 inside. Is there any setting to be difference in NRG-1 and NRG-2 in latest 3.1.0 SDK apart from the high clock setting from 16M to 32M?

Generally, there shall be no difference in using BluNRG1 or BlueNRG-2. Did you review the tolerance of the XTAL of 16MHz ?

Do you mean seeing 250kHz offset for some single tone?

    It would be expected behavior.

For stack v2.x, a new parameter, offset, was introduce for ACI_HAL_TONE_START() API for user to start a tone at channel center frequencies without offsets.

Please set the offset to 0.

Yes. it is related to 250kHz offset problem. I used command of Radio_Start_tone() in our test code and this 250kHz will be still existed on it so it will give a difference behaviour for using DTM mode vs test code directly.

Please get the DTM firmware from the latest SDK, STSW-BLUENRG1-DK v3.1.0 :

    together with new GUI, STSW-BNRGUI v3.1.0 :
