Hi everyone, I hope everyone is doing fine in these challenging times. I am trying to develop a new product range based on the BLE MESH network for which I have selected the BlueNRG-LP family to go with.I have downloaded the latest mesh software stack "STSW-BNRGLP-Mesh v1.01.000" from the website and am able to run the given sample application "lighting demo" on • STEVAL-IDB011V1 using Kiel.But I couldn't locate the developer's guide for the BLE MESH stack anywhere.Kindly help me to guide the developer's guide or if ST provides no such guide for their mesh stack then how can I quickly build my own application based on BlueNRG mesh.As this is my first time with ST products so any help would be appreciated.
Hello ST-CommunityI have a little problem with bluenrg-2m, I'm handling the the user event process in 100ms RTOS timer call back with stmn32f446.The problem is when I send a file using mobile app call bluetooth terminal, It become too slow !1kbyte per second.I can't find the reason. Is it from the mobile app or from bluenrg.Other query, Can I change the this numbers in bluenrg_conf.c?
Hi,I want to rearrange the generated files of peripherals and protocols(like usart.c, tim.c, adc.c) from the core folder to the driver's folder and rename the core folder to the Application. Is it possible in stm32cubeIDE?ThanksMathan
My customer installed some sites with cards with S2-LP (one central board and one remote).On a particular location the S2-LP crashes. Now I'm searching the problem but while I'm searching I would like that the customer resets the S2-LP (not the entire card) remotely by IOT and avoid to visit the site.But calling a second time MX_X_CUBE_SUBG2_Init() doesn't work. After this the SPI works correctly (I'm polling the chip ID) but there is no more interrupt generated by the S2-LP(checked with the scope on the 4 GPIO).Any idea? Status seems correct:
Hi,I have a custom PCB based on STM32L4R9 with a SPI interface to BlueNRG-2 flashed with DTM SPI (2.1f stack). I use X-CUBE-BLE2.I'm able to communicate with the module such as retrieve firmware details, start and stop tones. The problem I'm seeing is that the IRQ line often stays high after sending a command. The command is executed and later commands is also executed with success. After the following code flow is excuted the IRQ is low as expected.hci_init(NULL, NULL); /* Sw reset of the device */ hci_reset(); aci_hal_get_firmware_details(&DTM_version_major, &DTM_version_minor, &DTM_version_patch, &DTM_variant, &DTM_Build_Number, &BTLE_Stack_version_major, &BTLE_Stack_version_minor, &BTLE_Stack_version_patch, &BTLE_Stack_development, &BTLE_Stack_variant, &BTLE_Stack_Build_Number); aci_hal_tone_start(0, 0); // 2.402 GHz (no offset)If I send aci_hal_tone_stop(); afterwards IRQ stays high again.Things i noticed: Ins
Using WiSE-STUDIO and BlueNRG SDK 1.4.0 on Windows 11Debugger is USB to the board, configured as CMSIS-DAPI'm able to flash code to the board, but I cannot see an option for "Live Expressions" anywhere. Is this not supported?
Hi,I notice that the STHV series chips have T/R switch in it, but I wonder if the evaluation board can receive the echo signals? Then, if I want to develop a PCB board with STHV series chips, do I need to add a waveform generator before STHV chips? If I want to obatin the echo data, do I need to add ADC hardware module when receiving echo signals? Finally, some evaluation boards use FPGA and some don't, I don't know if there are any differences when don't using FPGA.
Hello,I'm from Viet Nam,I am currently working on a project to use eSIMs for electronic meters.Can you show me how to bootstrap VNPT's profile to your eSIM chip? (VNPT is a major telecommunications corporation in Vietnam)Best Regard!
Hi everyone,I am developing an IOT solution using the BLUENRG-M0 from ST.I am coding in C and I use a custom board with SPI communication between the BLUENRG and my MSP430F5255 from T.I . I am using the ACI API to transmit commands to the BLE module. I have 2 boards, and while one is advertising, I want the other to perform scanning in order to receive an advertising report. (And to get the RSSI after). My issue is when I want to make another scan. I use the aci_gap_terminate_gap_procedure() with the good opcode link to the function that I use for scanning, but I always receive a BLE_Timeout error. Therefore my primary scan has not ended correctly and I can’t begin a new one. I have tried increasing the time before TIMEOUT but nothing changes. I didn’t see people talking about the issue with the gap_terminate function, so I ask this here. It would be nice if someone could clarify for me the use of this function and why it has this behavior. Best rega

Hi,We are using Murata CMWX1ZZABZ-078 Lora module and I-CUBE-LRWAN firmware for our IOT project development. There is another host ( STM32) MCU sending AT command at 115200 baud rate to control murata lora module and it works fine at room temperature. But when we test at -20 degree C temperature, the Lora module cannot respond correctly. We capture the uart waveform from Lora module and find that the baud rate look like at very high speed. Since the setting of STM32L MCU inside murata module is using internal RC oscillator, will it be problem at -20 degree temperature? Do you have any recommendation of setting at very low temperature?Regards

Hello,I'm trying to send data over uart from a another file.My main :UART_HandleTypeDef huart1; DMA_HandleTypeDef hdma_usart1_tx; int main(void) { MX_USART1_UART_Init(); While(1) { } }My error is :../Core/Src/AT_Command.c:22:21: error: 'huart1' undeclared (first use in this function)I'have read that a must declare "UART_HandleTypeDef" as extern...but i'no unsterdant how.do you have more information ?
Hi, first of all i'm a noob with bluenrg products,I'm using the STEVAL-IDB008V2 and i'm able to load firmware using the RF-flasher utillity via COM port identified as ST DK just fine, but when i try to load the same firmware using a standard com port in my custom board or even in the eval board the RF-flasher is unable to comunicate with the board, all i do is to connect DIO8 and DIO11 to the UART adapter, GND to GND and DIO7 to 3.3V (also power to the board), if i check the UART all i get at boot is 0x00 but no response at all, ¿what am i doing wrong? i've also tried to use the st-link V2 and bluenrg-1 ST LINK Utillity but the programmer is unable to connect too, the program only allows me to operate in SWD mode and not in JTAG, any ideas?Thanks in advance.

Hello, Our application needs longer distance RS485 communication, So, From 3.3V and 5V RS485 IC (available in ST), which to choose for larger distance coverage?Thank You
Hi,I wanna use an RF Transceiver 433khz with STM32 boards and I am looking for the best choices. My requirements are very simple:Frequecy supported 433MhzMultihoping strategySPI interfaceI found the nRF905 but I am looking for a better solution.Thanks,Ayoub
I knew that ST202 is compatible for ST3232. So I changed only ST202 into ST3232 without any circuit changing.But ST3232 doesn't work.What is different between ST3232 and ST202, other than power supply voltage?I found the difference in typical application in datasheet. In ST202, V+ is connected VCC(5V) through a 0.1uF capacitor. But in ST3232, V+ is connected GND through a 0.1uF capacitor.In fact, is it correct that V+ must be connected VCC in ST3232?
We are using BlueNRG2 chip for our BLE application. For the Information,We have connected 32MHz external crystal oscillator in HS Pins..We haven't connected any external crystal oscillator at LS Pins..And we haven't connected any inductor at SMPS pins of BlueNRG2....We have selected configurations in the firmware accordingly, even though we are not able to start the BlueNRG2 application and the MCU is stuck at the while(CKGEN_BLE->CLK32K_IT == 0); point in DeviceConfiguration() function.It is indicating that the "Wait until HS is ready. The slow clock period measurement is done automatically each time the- device enters in active2 state and the HS is ready. The interrupt signals that a measurement is done."Please help us out to indentify the issue.
I've connected the cno410 LED Driver to NUCLEO-F446RE which works with SPI lines, whenever I've linked to it directly, it works as expected. we have designed another PCB shield on the Nucleo board. On top of we have connected this LED Driver now. Now it is not working as expected. But whenever I've connected the logic analyzer it is working as expected ( which is not worked without connecting the logic analyzer). Simply say SPI is working when I'm connecting the floating wire on the MOSI line and not working if there is no floating wire. I'm surprised by what is happening. I've checked all the grounding and all are well. Even though I tries to check with the logic analyzer LED driver is working.What are the chances I may getting this problem please give any suggestions. I'm unable to debug it.
But some time Mcu is unable to read vl53l1 .Do anyone has faced, such issues with the chip, appreciated.
