Right at the moment I have 2 X-NUCELO WIFI expansion board, X-NUCLEO-IDW01M1 & X-NUCLEO-IDW04A1. I am pretty confused, which one to use for an NUCLEO-144 STM32-Cortex M4 ?

Is there any difference between the 2 boards?

Which one is easy to manipulate?

thanks

Hello,

I recommend you to refer to the product Data brief and compare the product features.

The main differences between X-NUCLEO-IDW01M1 and X-NUCLEO-IDW04A1:

  • X-NUCLEO-IDW01M1 based on SPWF01SA Wi-Fi module with major characteristics : STM32 ARM Cortex-M3, with 64 KB RAM and 512KB Flash memory.
  • X-NUCLEO-IDW04A1 based on SPWF04SA Wi-Fi module: STM32 ARM Cortex®-M4, with 256 KB SRAM and 2 MB Flash memory.

You will find on the product web site the "Quick start guide" and User manual detailled the hardware requirements and that helps you as getting started.

Best Regards,

Imen
