How to install software extension X-CUBE-53L9A1 in STM32CubeMX?

In section 1.2 of DB5834Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors software expansion for STM32Cube it is written that “The package is compatible with STM32CubeMX. It can be downloaded from and installed directly into STM32CubeMX, as described in UM1718”.

 

I followed UM1718 but could not find “X-CUBE-53L9A1” in Tab “STMicroelectronics”. I’m using the CubeMX version 6.18.0.

 

Also the upload of the zip-file via “From Local...” failed. The error message: “This file is eighter corrupted or not recogniced package. [...]”.

 

How to proceed?

Hello,

It seems that the package X-CUBE-53L9A1 is not intended to be added from the software pack nor “From Local” as it doesn’t have the package format exploited by CubeMx. 

Need to download the package as is and use the ioc file already provided in the project. In that case, NUCLEO-H563ZI platform is used.
