Can VL53L9CX generate histogram?

Wondering if VL53L9CX generates per-pixel histograms?

It looks like there is no relevant information either in the datasheets or the released firmware.

Thank you for your interest in the VL53L9CX — it’s an exciting and powerful new sensor.

At the moment, however, VL53L9CX has not been officially released yet, so we do not have shareable information regarding features such as histograms.

For now, the best approach is to wait for the official publication of the datasheet and user manual, which will contain the supported feature set and usage details.

Hello,

Per-pixel histogram is not a mode that can be enabled on VL53L9CX with this version of HW/FW. This device has a cutting-edge hardware processing block. The key advantage of extracting depth in hardware is that it reduces the volume of output data. 
With less data, the system can read the data over I3C and operate with an MCU such as H5 or N6.
