Marking solutions to problems that are not solved

None of these issues is actually solved:

 

The posts marked as the solution are just “We will add this to the list to be considered for improvement”.

That’s not a solution!

I don’t think a solution should be marked until the issue is actually resolved - whether by fixing the issue, or with a decision that it will not be fixed.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I agree with you on the best practice of using the “Best answer” feature, as it is outlined in the ST Community welcome guide:

“Best answer” feature

Our community relies on fruitful exchanges and good quality content. You can thank and reward helpful and positive contributions by marking them as “Best answer”. When doing so, make sure it answers your original question or issue that you raised.  
ST Employees that act as moderators, have the right to accept the solution, judging by their expertise. This helps other community members identify useful discussions and refrain from raising the same question. If you notice any false behavior or abuse of the action, do not hesitate to report it. 

The “Best answers” are temporarily removed from the flagged posts until the community team has a solution to share.
