Forum stuck on 'Please wait for your files to be uploaded'

Nothing happened for ages; no animation of the ‘Create’ button.

I gave up, did a select-all and copy-paste to a new post in a new tab.

That one worked fine:

 

Back at the original (still stuck “waiting”), I hit refresh, and it just went back to a blank form - all my edits lost and gone forever (if i hadn’t had the foresight to take a copy).

But this time there was no error message - it just hung in that “waiting” state.

 

Again, this is why we need the forum to save drafts!
