Hi, I am considering SPC58EC70E3F000X microcontroller in a design. 1. Can RTL8201F ethernet PHY from Realtek be used with SPC58EC70E3F000X microcontroller? 3. Does SPC58ECx/SPC584Cx has necessary libraries for Realtek Ethernet PHY ICs.

Hello Apant ,

1) Yes ,

10 and 100, Mbps data transfer rates with the following PHY interfaces:

– IEEE 802.3-compliant MII interface to communicate with an external Fast Ethernet PHY

– RMII interface to communicate with an external Fast Ethernet PHY  (ok for RTL8201F)

2) In discovery board we are using CI Ethernet

DP83848YB/NOPB

We have no library on this IC.

you have to create it.
