STEVAL-TDR014V1: Replacement part numbers for obsolete ATC 100A/100B RF matching network capacitors

Hello ST Team,

I am reproducing the STEVAL-TDR014V1 evaluation board based on the PD55008-E RF power transistor and have attached the original schematic and BOM for reference.

While sourcing components, I found that several parts listed in the BOM are either obsolete, difficult to source, or have ambiguous manufacturer references. Before proceeding with the PCB assembly, I would like to verify the component selections and obtain recommended replacements where necessary.

I would appreciate assistance with the following:

  1. Identification of the original manufacturer part numbers corresponding to the BOM entries.

  2. Recommended currently available replacement components for obsolete or unavailable parts.

  3. Confirmation of critical specifications that must be maintained for equivalent replacements, especially for:

    • RF matching network capacitors

    • RF inductors and chokes

    • Ferrite beads

    • RF connectors

    • Any other components with special RF or high-frequency requirements

  4. Any updated BOM, application note, or design guidance available for the STEVAL-TDR014V1.

My primary objective is to reproduce the evaluation board while maintaining performance characteristics similar to the original design.

The components of particular concern are the RF matching network capacitors and other passive components whose original manufacturer part numbers are not clearly specified in the BOM.

I have attached the complete schematic and BOM and would be grateful for any recommendations regarding suitable modern replacements.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
Swapnil Akhade
