Does the signal SAI2_FS_A not trigger when SAI 2 is in synchronous slave mode?

Hi there,

I'm using the SAI2_FS_A signal to trigger a capture event on TIM2 (Through a series of weird internal routing). It all works nicely when SAI2 is an asynchronous master, however in my application it needs to be a synchronous slave to SAI1. I understand that there is no SAI2 FS signal output on a pin when in slave mode, but is the internal signal also disabled?

It's not working for me and I really hope there's an option or work around!
