Can't connect to Discovery card

Just after I downloaded a program into Stm32F100 Discovery card, the STM32 ST-LINK Utility lost contact with the card. Now it cannot connect to it, no matter what I do. The software in the card is a plain GPIO test from Cube, but it may initialize all IO pins.

If the HW is working, is there an way to reprogram the chip. Or an other way to see what is wrong.

I got it working. I had to keep the reset button pressed when I started the STlink utility.

    Thank you for the advise.

I could not find the ''Connect under Reset'' option. Is it unavailable because the built in ST link is version 1? There are only Normal and Hot Plug modes available.
