Hi all,
I am using customized designed board consisting of stm32G4CEU microcontroller and we have USB connector to do the data communication with the stm32 microcontroller. Once I connect the USB to my PC (Windows11 Pro) then its not getting recognised in device manager. I tried to find the right VCP driver on stm32 website but it supports only upto windows10. Can we not have any stm32 VCP driver for windows11 pro.?
Same problem remains also for the DFU class method for USB. In that this software package is only supports up to windows10. Can we not have any software package for windows11 onwards.?
Your suggetions are highly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.

Yes we can, and we already have it in Windows as-is. Windows 10 and 11 have in-box driver for many USB to serial adapters, STM32 "VCP" should work with it too.
Even if a suitable driver is not installed, Windows 10 (latest updates) and Win 11 should show the attached device in Device manager. Even if the device fails to provide standard USB descriptors, Windows will show this.
If you don't see anything at all in the Device manager after connecting the USB cable to your board, it means that Windows does not detect the USB device at all. So look at the physical layer.
