Hey everyone,
I'm using an stm32f722ze, in a nucleo board(nucleo f722ze). I've set up a timer as an interrupt an one of the GPIO pins as an interrupt(just to test both cases).
Essentially in my final code I'd like to implement the interrupt using the timer in input capture mode and have it trigger the DMA for a memory to peripheral transfer or memory to memory. Something like this.
I want the system to be triggered by an 4MHz clock, then have the nucleo read two pins and store their values via DMA to memory in an interrupt. The problem is I've only been able to successfully trigger a pin at 800 kHz, in the interrupt, after which the interrupt fails.
I used cube(just easier for the constant setup) and HAL,although with a 216MHz clock source, and little other code besides a pin being triggered and interrupt reset, this seems very odd?

Where could I possibly be going wrong? is it using HAL and Cube or have a forgot to set something? is there too much overhead?
Any help will really be appreciated
