I don't know if it is financially viable or technically feasible, but I still think an ultra-ultra-low-powered STM32 chip would be a great addition to your range.
A 36 pin and/or 48 pin device, limited to 8MHz (no PLL) with much reduced sleep and active current would make the STM32 range perfect (in my opinion)
