Hello, I want to use SDRAM with STM32F429(lqfp100). How can I connect FMC pins to SDRAM.
Please can you help me ?
Are there enough pins? Use the data sheet and review the STM32F429I-DISCO schematic to understand connectivity expectations.
I thing, there are not enough pins. But I must do MCU that has 100 pins(stm32f429)
You're not going to get 10 gallons in a 5 gallon bucket, decide what goal posts you're going to have to move.
Don't I connect SDRAM to stm32f429 which has 100 pins ?
You said there aren't enough pins? The Data Sheet should confirm this.
The SDRAM and LCD interfaces consume a lot of pins, by necessity. If you want to escape extended functionality you're going to have to pick a part which has enough pins to do that. I can't wave a wand and make that happen.
actually ı will gui with stm32f429 that has 100 pins on the tft lcd. so ı need to connect SDRAM. but ı don't know between this mcu and SDRAM connection
You can not use SDRAM with 'F429 with less than 144 pins.
Thank you for answered.
And can ı do GUI without external SDRAM?
Is the internal SRAM large enough to hold your frame buffer for the resolution and colour depth of the screen you have in mind?
The alternative is to have an LCD controller with it's own frame buffer, however this will be slower to interact with.
Can ı make GUI without use external SDRAM?
