CubeMX 2.24 has migration problem

Question asked by Kanz Kurahashi on Jan 30, 2018

Hi

I found a problem in CubeMX Ver.2.24.0.
This version of the CubeMX destroys multibyte character strings contained in the project file when migrating old project files containing multibyte characters.
I am using EWARM in Japanese mode, but this problem occurs when multi-byte characters are included in *.ewp file.
Specifically, it is the following part of the ewp file.

  <option>
    <name>Input description</name>
    <state>フルフォーマット。</state>
  </option>

  <option>
    <name>Output description</name>
    <state>フルフォーマット。</state>
  </option>

  <option>
    <name>RTDescription</name>
    <state>C/C++ランタイムライブラリの詳細設定を使用します。詳細ロケールインタフェース、Cロケール、ファイル記述子サポート、printf/scanfでのマルチバイト文字、strtodでの16進数浮動小数点数。</state>
  </option>

These characters are destroyed, and the project file becomes unusable.
I hope for an immediate correction.
