Error | STMicroelectronics Community
That's all I've seen when trying to open posts for the last two days now. Same problem in IE or Firefox.
I think this may be because I normally use the web address,
which shows headings but no content when the headings are clicked.
It seems to be necessary to use the web address,
which brings up a different screen layout view and can open headings.
I take all that back.
The formum just seems to be very broken with frequent occurrences of "An unexpected error ...". Makes no difference which web address I access the forum with and makes no difference if I am logged in or not.
Thanks. I just read Amel's / Mayla's blog and it says, 'At least we aren't seeing, "Worst forum software ever tag" ... ' any more.
It's still there in the list of defined tags ...
Log in first.
For most of us that isn't helping.
Confirmed - the error still occurs even when logged-in.
It might make a difference as to where it occurs, but it doesn't stop it occurring.
I too have this problem. I cannot read most content here unless I go via someones Activity page. That is the only way I managed to get to reply to this discussion.
Clearing cache, using Firefox and Chrome. Still have the problems.
Something is serious broken here.
Worst forum software ever ... since the last time. At least last time it worked!
worst forum software ever
To be fair the Microsoft forum did trash it's database quite frequently, but ST usually got it back on its feet within a few days. Jive seems to take weeks/months instead of hours/days
Hi John F. Andrew Neil Matthew Staben Toby
this is Francesco from ICT Online Marketing team at ST.
We are extremely sorry for the issue and we are doing our best with the supplier (Jive/Aurea) to get the various issues resolved.
Being it a SaaS platform, we can't tackle low-level (e.g. DB) issues ourselves and that's why it's taking longer than what you would have expected from us.
Rest assured these issues are on top of my (and my colleagues') mind.
