Hello, 2018 are upon us, i would like to share few things i would live to see from STMicroelectronics STM32 lineup from most significant, to least.

  1. SPL ( "Standard peripheral Libraries" ) For all your MCU's (F7 and H7). Each discovery board should have examples in SPL
  2. Higher clock rates. 400MHz looks about where i can compete with FPGA
  3. HRTIM with ~200ps resolution PWM signaling, for H- bridges as well as push pull type arrangement.
  4. FPGA type fabric on chip , that can be accessed directly with MCU. That would be game changer for my work.  2K logic elements would be sufficient in most cases, 25kcels would be more than enough even for complex tasks
  5. High speed bidirectional differential data link , like SPI, just with integrated hardware ans less wires

What did i missed ?

And please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, make SPL for all MCU's !
