How can I control TIMer Output Compare Period using HAL and DMA?

Question asked by Stefan Wozniak on Oct 5, 2017

How can I control TIMer Output Compare Period using HAL and DMA?
I'm trying to do this on Nucleo STM32F411RE board but without success.
Idea is to provide array with specific periods, to control a length of pulses in OC Toggle mode.
I was able to do this in Interrupt mode where I wrote a procedure to put values one after another into ARR, but I need something faster.

I was unable to send data thru DMA.
