Problems with LPTIM_Timeout example

I've built this project using Atollic's IDE but the MCU doesn't wakeup after going going to stop. So I've been trying to understand why, sadly without much success. One problem I've come across is that the RM0367 reference manual shows the valid bits for the EXTI_IMR register. When I come to debug the application and examine the register in the debugger it doesn't show me bit 29 (the one for the LPTIM EXTI) because, I assume, it thinks it's not used. Similarly bit 27 is available in the debugger where the reference manual says it's not used.

Tried the same project in Keil MDK with the same results.

I assume the reference manual is right, the code example uses the same bit, yet the example does not work for me. Can anyone clear up the ref manual / debugger mismatch and has anyone had success running this example.

Example was from the STM32Cube_FW_L0_V1.9.0 repository, target board is the Nucleo-L073RZ.

TIA Pete
