A post, containing only links to st.com (albeit www.st.com rather than community.st.com) got moderated; whereas a post containing an external link did not. What's the logic in this?
Definitely seen it put internal site links into moderation. New #tags seems to do it also, along with code formatting.
Clive, if you go to the second post I mentioned and click on that link (some blogspot page), do you go through the "leaving community" warning?
Your first one gets me an unauthorized message, presumably because only you can see it is in moderation.
That's expected; but if you go to the second post, there's a link to external site (blogspot); if you click on that one, do you get the "now you are leaving community" warning/window?\
No, just goes there for me. Your 39289 thread is still unauthorized.
Seen it pop up warnings for .PDF manuals and data sheets on the site.
Thanks for these inputs. Since the spam issues, we are working with Jive on the spam filter to improve it.
Your help is very useful. I'll create a private group so that we can improve and share more information together without informing the spammers ;-)
Today I have received an e-mail with a post I could not see through web in the morning, apparently being moderated (contained formatted code and now I can see it). Unless I am already priviledged in some weird way, which I sincerely doubt, this makes the whole point of moderation as it is now, moot.
Needless to say, the "formatted" code was illegible in the e-mail.
