The login page has a visual flaw.
The login name gadget seem slightly too small - an entered underscore character is not visible.
Login works, though.
Do you have a screenshot of the issues you describe above? Also which browser are you using? Here's a screenshot using Chrome and it looks good for me:
Here a screenshot of the login window. It's Firefox, as can bee seen. And it's not an issue of the Host OS (Linux/Windows).
As you can see, you can't see much ;-)
Where there seems a space, I entered and underscore.
Thanks for the screenshot. Francesco Cariati could you refer this in house to review the Firefox behaviour of the ST login?
Hi AvaTar and thanks for the screenshot.
Can you please also take a screenshot of the "About" window of your Firefox so I can see the exact version of it?
The "Give Feedback" wedge in the bottom left frequently interferes with the Login button. Not sure if it is a screen size, or 16:9 aspect issue. Consider moving it to bottom right where there is nothing in the way.
I think the version number would suffice (especially because my system language is neither English nor Italian).
It is currently V 50.1.0, exhibiting the described "issue".
Had been experiencing it from the start of the new forum platform (not much FireFox version passing by, though ...).
Working PC at my company showed the same issue (with FireFox) under Win8, but I have no access this week (holidays).
I did a fresh install of Firefox v 50.1.0 on my PC and input exactly the same e-mail address as you
but it gets displayed correctly, as you can see from the screenshot below.
Have you tried resetting the Firefox setting to default?
Not sure if we talk about the same.
Have you tried mail addresses (or strings) containing underscores ? I don't see an underscore in the screenshot.
If so, are they displayed correctly - or at all ?
Do you have any specifc properties in mind ?
Font settings are basically the default. Menu language is selected automatically (system language).
Gonna try the all-to-default, but with a different user ... ;-)
You are right, underscores don't show up on Firefox.
I will have an engineer investigate the issue.
Thanks a lot for bringing this up!
