Overvoltage on GPIO pins (analog setup)

I have a signal going into one of the pins on a STM32F303 which is set up in analog mode as an input to an ADC. It is fed by a 2K2 resistor. The power supply on the MCU is 3V. If the signal being fed into the 2K2 goes to (say) 6V is there any likelihood of damage? Or will it be safely clamped with a current flow of a milliamp or two?
