I´ve tried to contact ST in Germany but I got no answer.
Well, right on the front page the document specifically states,
The vocoder firmware package is provided upon request, for more details please contact your local ST sales representative.
So I guess you need to push harder into ST.
Have you tried via your distributor?
Hello Wolf Colin ,
As mentioned in the AN4229: "The vocoder firmware package is provided upon request, for more details please contact your local ST sales representative."
Please, contact a local ST sales representative from the list indicated at this Link.
Imen D - OP did say that (s)he has tried this, but ST were unresponsive.
So how do you suggest that (s)he escalates the issue?
We have seen this kind of thing before - perhaps more specific wording on who & how to contact would help?
Perhaps some extra training or something is required in ST offices to respond promptly to such requests?
Hello Andrew Neil ,
Thank you for your feedback. I raised this internally to the right person.
Dear Rak, there is a need to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement to access this code.
If you have a commercial project, with a company, please send me a mail and we will proceed.
If not, I do not recommend to engage in this process.
Laurent VERA - This needs to be made clear in the document!
ST is directing a lot of stuff at amateurs/hobbyists - "makers" - these days, so you need to be clear where stuff is for commercial projects only!
Andrew, I agree. There are really a few exceptions where for some reasons we need to sign such a legal document. We should make it clear in the document.
Hello Laurent VERA,
can you tell something about the reason in this special case?
Typical reasons are the IP is covered by licensing or patent issues, or expresses stuff that is commercially sensitive or contains trade secrets (stuff you don't want disclosed in a patent, and can be used to invalidate others)

Might I suggest an approach like this for assigning staff and priorities to specific customers, projects and regions.

Ha ha - so it is!
It was Wolf Colin who just woke it up saying the ST in Germany were unresponsive
Maybe I would've noticed that if I wasn't restricted to this nasty 'Activity' view due to the current forum shambles ... ?
(or maybe not).
so I can't edit my post in this view!
Yes, apparently "Editing" is an advanced function, and the Action button offers no personal options, I could give you a badge if I wanted.
A lack of editing in all cases might be constructed as a violation of the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) as it doesn't provide reasonable accommodation for those with dyslexia or general clumsiness.
The "Inbox" view generally seems to work for threads I'm participating in, and this provides age/chronology info.
Which one are you calling the "inbox" view?
Why are there so many views? Seems like just an excuse for Jive justify taking ages to fix because it is, "very complicated" ...
I click on the Bell, get the Inbox (full view selected, see form selected on upper right), then click on posts
OK - I see.
But from there (your 2nd screenshot), if I click the thread title, it gives an "unexpected error" - although we have now come to expect that ...
Yes the "Thread" view still seems to choke, but there is a crack team of coding ninjas working on that, apparently...
or maybe the team is just on crack ... ?
