Problem with performancec of "LwIP_HTTP_Server_Socket_RTOS" and STM32F4Cube

I got info from my customer;
We tried with team properly compile and configure "LwIP_HTTP_Server_Socket_RTOS" and STM32F4Cube on STM32F407VG and  DP83848.PHY.
Project was successfully compiled , but we noticed performance problems.
For tests we sended lot of pings from windows machine and results was not satisfied us
Response for ping took in average 500-600 ms.
In project we was using latest available STM32F4Cube software.

Because of lack of performance we tried also use old NRND Standard Library .
With same tests conditions  we got satisfied us results - 1-2 ms for ping.
Code was completely rewritten basing on STSW-STM32070 

So my question is - where can be problem in LwIP_HTTP_Server_Socket_RTOS and STM32F4Cube for performance problems? Can it be  in connection with:

Maybe is available workaround and/or better working www server or example basing on Cube?
