L6924D: How to Derive ICHG from Current Injected in REND?

Question asked by sangare.abdoulaye on Aug 30, 2016

The datasheet of the L6924D mentions on Page 19 that the the current injected in REND is proportional to ICHG. It also states that the voltage across REND can be used by a microcontroller to check the charge status like a gas gauge. However, the datasheet is not specific about the proportionality between the current in REND and the charge current ICHG. Is there a factor that should be used to derive ICHG from the current injected in REND? Can you provide more clarification on this?

Thank you
