Hello @Glodhi and welcome to the ST community,

I suggest STM32C0 family instead of STM8 which is an old 8-bit MCU.

but i require for small project thats why i am selecting the stm8s which have less gpio or cost effective.  4 gpio or 2 external interrupt or two pwm  need to use only? thats why i am not going on stm32 series.

STM32C0 family has lowest packages sizes.

Example: STM32C011. Refer to the datasheet

and reference manual: RM0490

C0 family is intended to replace 8-bit MCUs.

Use STM32 MCU Finder tool to fine tune your selection.
