Verify Voltage Level on FMC

Associate III

I've spent some time looking over the STM32MP15x hardware manual but cannot confirm that the FMC levels (in SRAM mode) are 1.8v. Can this be confirmed or corrected please?

All IO are working at VDD voltage which support 1.71V to 3.6V range globally (except specific analog or PHY pins like USB, DSI or DDR which deserve specific supply and characteristics).

All IOs in input mode are supporting higher voltage up to 5V whether VDD is 1.8V typ. or 3.3V typ.

If you are looking to use FMC at 1.8V with VDD=3.3V, you need external level translator.

Please note that on Linux side, SW driver for FMC only support NAND memory.

FMC cannot be shared between Cortex-A7 and Cortex-M4.
