NUCLEO-G431RB cannot be connected to the ST MCSDK

Hello ST support team,

I have been trying to profile a motor using NUCLEO-G431RB & X-NUCLEO-IHM16.

To do that I changed the virtual com port feature of the board to work with USART1 (PC4/PC5) connected to STLINK-V3E Virtual COM and also chose USART1 in the workbench (please refer to the screenshots).

Having done that, I tried to start the motor using the push button implemented on the board, but what I observed is the motor doesn't even bother to start! Noting happens

Another problem is that I have tried to connect to the board via motor profiler, but it doesn't connect either.

Better to mention that my Nucleo board is not recognized as a drive in my PC.

What is the problem? are there any modifications I have missed?

Could you please help me conquer the problem?

thanks
