Digital Signature Algorithm Engine Availability in STM32H735IGT3

Hello,

I am seeking clarification regarding digital signature support (uses private key for generation and public key for verification) on the STM32H735IGT3. According to the reference manual, the device includes a hash processor (supporting SHA-1, SHA-224, SHA-256, and MD5) and a cryptographic engine for AES encryption/decryption. The manual also states:

“The message digest can then be processed with a digital signature algorithm in order to generate or verify the signature for the message. Signing the message digest rather than the message often improves the efficiency of the process because the message digest is usually much smaller in size than the message. The verifier of a digital signature has to use the same hash algorithm as the one used by the creator of the digital signature.

However, I do not see any mention of a dedicated hardware engine for digital signature algorithms (such as RSA or ECDSA) in the STM32H735IGT3 documentation.
Can anyone confirm whether the STM32H735IGT3 has built-in hardware support for digital signature verification (e.g., RSA, ECDSA), or must these operations be implemented in software?

Thank you,

Manjunath Mulimani
